What should the guys wear?
Ok...So I have used some of your ideas from a previous question and this is what I've come up with:
My colors will be Champagne and Wine (lol I'm not like an alcoholic, the colors I like just happened to be called that at Davids Bridal)
I LOVE the idea of doing a pumpkin carving station for the kids I also plan to use fall leaves, gourds, and pumpkins for accents at the reception.
My dress is Ivory with champagne accents (already have it). I was thinking the groom will wear an Ivory tux with a champage vest. Does that work? What should the groomsmen wear? And what about the best man...I'd like people to be able to see a difference between the groomsmen and best man. I think my MOH will wear Champagne with a wine ribbon (or something to accent in wine) and the other girls will wear wine.
My fiance isnt into fashion...at all! He absolutely doesnt care what he wears. In fact, he insists that I go with them to try on their tuxes because he says he "doest trust hiself"
of course you want the groom to match you, its hard to match ivorys just so you know ahead of time...they are like 5 million different whites and ivories, so well let me give you an example this is what I am doing, my dress is antique white, between white and ivory...my girls are wearing taupe, groom is wearing a black tux and everyone is wearing ivory shirts, he is wearing an ivory (with a paisley design) vest and ivory tie, bestman and groommens men are wearing a paisely design taupe and black vest with a taupe tie, so for you maybe the groom will wear ivory, with an ivory shirt champagne vest and tie, (although black tux would make the champagne pop) best man could wear champagne vest with wine going thru it or vis versa with what ever color is accented in the vest the tie could be that color, then the groomsmen could wear just wine to match the bridesmaids, hope this helps..congrats and good luck
