11 Ways to Link Pleasure to Making Money
When you want to leverage the old pleasure and pain principle to achieving your goals you will want more the just one tool to take to this battle of the higher brain and the instinctive primitive brain. The pain and pleasure theory states that we run away from pain and move towards pleasure, always! Simple and logical.
So how do we apply this principle of the subconscious and consciously use it to our advantage to reach our goals?
Lets explore some ways in which we can do this.
1. Visualize
Picture the end result in your mind´s eye. Imagine and simply fantasize about having already achieved your goals. What would it sound like when you reach your goal. What would it look like, what would it feel like when you reach your goal. What would be the benefits and who would enjoy your achievements along with you?
Every time you imagine yourself already having achieved your goals in great detail you will be associating pleasure to your goals, therefore empowering yourself to act quickly and confidently.
2. Write it down
Taking the example of visualizing already haven achieved a particular goal, simply write it down in as much detain as possible. Remember Who, What, Where, and when. Include the time and place where your achievements take place. Include numbers if it is about making money, include names and places where it will all take place. The simple act of reducing your ideas down on paper will give you a great sense of security and believability. Security and believability is another word for pleasure to the subconscious mind.
3. Affirmations
Speak your mind out loud! Simply affirm out loud that you have already achieved your goal and emphasis the benefits of your achievements and the positive effects they will have on others. Affirm your confidence and your ability to successfully achieve your goals.
4. Go to the core
Make sure that you don't shy away from the "F" word. FEAR! Ask yourself this question. What I am afraid of when it comes to going after this goal? Write down your fears and then begin to affirm
the opposite. In other words, if you are afraid of failing, then begin to affirm that you will succeed no matter what. Just flip that fear around and turn it into a positive statement. You can learn more about this by reading the iMaster Techniques e-book.
5. Add Music
While thinking of your goal put on your favorite upbeat music, get on your feet and move around, dance while you allow the music to fill you with joy. All the while, keep thinking of your goal as if you have already achieve it. End by going through a mental review of the good feeling that will come about from having achieved your goal.
6. Draw a picture or make a mind map
Or do a combination of both. Leonardo DaVinci always had his note pad with him and made drawings of how he could accomplish his goals. Getting away from the computer and grabbing a blank pad will allow your creativity to really flow, ideas to and inspiration to flourish and mental blocks to easily be broken. One more step towards associating pleasure to your goals. Make a mind map of the steps you will need to take to achieve your goal. And finally, draw a picture of what the end result will look like. Don´t worry if you are not an artist, the point is to allow your mind the freedom to flow, fantasize and be creative. This little habit can help make you a genius by tapping into your creative mind, just like Leonardo!
7. Measure your ability to take action.
Once you have the estimated date of reaching your goals, write down the necessary action steps you will need to take to achieve your goals. On a scale from 0-100%, ask yourself how confident you are in your ability to accomplishing these steps. If you are less then 80% confident in your ability to perform your tasks, immediately begin to work on the increasing your confidence level by using any of the exercises above to eliminate your fears. Pin pointing your weakness will empower you to turn them around or delegate those task out to experts which will ultimately help make you feel safe and secure, which is pleasurable to the mind.
8.Make a vision board
Find a wall somewhere in your home where you will be able to see your vision board daily. Grab some magazines and cut out pictures that represent your ideal life style. Under each picture write and estimated date in which you will realize the goal. Anything is possible, but keep your goals believable for you. You want to push your self to reach higher than where you are now but not so high so that you will easily give up. Every day for about 10 minutes go over your vision board and integrate it into your heart, your most balancing and powerful energy center.
9. Make a Mind movie with power point
Turn your vision board into a power point presentation. It is not difficult if you keep it simple. You can ad music and make the slide transition automatically. A little invest of time with this project will make for a dynamic mind movie that will allow you to sit back and enjoy the show. While you watch the presentation repeat positive statements in your mind to reinforce the subconscious programing that will be going on.
10. Act As If
This is a fun exercise to do with a group of friends. Set a date to gather together with friends and family and just like a costume party you will dress up the for the part. Dress as the successful entrepreneur that you want to be, or the doctor or a nurse or whatever find the appropriate attire to fit your dream life style. Then for the entire gathering "act as if" you are already that best selling author, the head nurse, the plastic surgeon or the leader you want to be. Share your accomplishment with everyone and they will do the same. This is fun - and the energy that fills the room is something can only be experienced.
11. Celebrate Your Achievement!
We humans are much too ungrateful for the everyday miracles. We are afraid of celebrating small achievements. Do we fear judgment, criticism or rejection. Why don´t you cerebrate your achievements in a significant way? Say loving things to yourself for getting out of bed early, for eating healthy, for all the little things. Once you get into the habit of praising yourself, you will naturally celebrate even the smallest achievements. Then your subconscious mind will continue to look for the rewards that come with a little sacrifice and your the momentum will grow.
The are many way to associate pleasure to achieving your dreams. The key is to gain the habit of doing at least one daily.

How to cue script act Shakespeare?
In the original days of Shakespeare, they used cue scripts- scripts with just the character's lines and their cues. Shakespeare wrote certain things in the text that would help the actors 'block' their lines, without there needing to be rehearsals.
So certain things- like capitalised letters holding more emphasis- are written already in the text.
I have forgotten EVERYTHING I learned in my Shakespearean cue script course, though, as it was a while back.
Does anyone have any tips on how to do this?
remove all punctuation and capitalization in th script that you have b/c mostly likely that is someone Else's interruption not Shakespeare's.
