Billy Crockett has lived on the Eastern Shore of Virginia all of his life. Growing up along the shoreline of Deep Creek, he found a love for nature ,wildlife and art itself.

As he grew, he left his works of art on many school books and desks, plus some lucky lockers at Perdue where he worked in the early 1990's. While at Perdue Billy decided to start carving birds for the fun of it, and within no time he had a waiting list of buyers. He walked out of Perdue and has worked for himself ever since.

His ability to capture the spirit of the individual wildlife he is carving is phenomenal. This is shown by the many awards and ribbons he has won over the past 16 years, including two Second Place ribbons and one Third Place ribbon in the World Class Miniature Division at the Ward World Wildfowl Carving Competition held in Ocean City, Maryland every third weekend in April.

Each one of his carvings shows that he is truly a Master Carver.
