Being the son of Willie Crockett ,well known artist, Billy was introduced to art at a very young age. Billy began carving in the early 1980's . In 1992 Billy entered the Ward World Carving Competition at the Novice Level with a minature Pintail and won absolutley nothing. The carving sold anyway. 

Then in 1993 he recieved an Honorable Mention in the Novice division with a Peregrin Falcon....each year he has accelled . 

Billy is now a World Competitor and competes against the best known carvers in the world at The Ward World Carving Competition - He is a Master Carver.
